Biggie

When you heard Biggie at a Brooklyn club, that was heroin. You felt not only at home, but also larger than life, superhuman. His rich, smooth voice is full of volume. His flow is impeccable. At the same time, his voice bent toward a strong NYC diacritic. A Brooklyn wordsmith, he stretches, compresses, and emphasizes syllables; his cadence so skillful, he plays with words like a mischievous cat chasing a helpless mouse. He could own a club without ever having to enter it.
